Double Down

I started this blog for fun because I love the game. There will actually be a lot of opinions probably, but since they're my opinions, you can take them as facts. Which means, No Opinions (of yours) Only Facts (of mine). Smile :). The discourse on social media is so boring and redundant now. I just like scrolling for the memes. Very few know real hoops.

I want to write a mix of all things. I'm a jack of all trades (about basketball) and a master of one, the eye test. People rely on advanced analytics too much these days. I do like me some analytics, but when it gets too complicated it takes away from the human aspect of the game. The chemistry. The hunger. The potential of the player. The build. The other intangibles that won't appear in the analyitcs.

The game will always be about who can put the ball into the basket the most. Hence, BASKET - BALL!

I'll be talking about everything. My aim is to keep the page easy to understand for the beginners but also advanced enough to keep the hoopheads entertained. I'm looking to make this an all-around page, discussing games, some plays I thought were nice, contracts of the players, etc. The overall business and the product.

I'm not a journalist or an expert. There will 100% be grammar errors and typos. The message and themes are the point, not the diction. There will be thought-dumping, so if I'm not making sense, just imagine it does. Or you can just ask me what I meant.

If I somehow end up getting fans, they're going to be called Noofies.
